Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 July 2026

These are the terms that apply when you use ToolBharat. By using the site, you’re agreeing to them, so it’s worth actually reading this once. We’ve tried to keep it short and avoid the kind of legal padding nobody reads anyway.

1. Who can use ToolBharat

You need to be at least 18, or using the site under a parent or guardian’s supervision.

2. Accounts

  • Keeping your login secure is on you. Use a real password manager if you can.
  • Give us accurate information when you sign up.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to your account.

3. What you can’t do here

Pretty standard stuff:

  • Don’t process content that infringes someone else’s rights or breaks Indian law.
  • Don’t try to reverse engineer, scan, or overload our systems.
  • Don’t use ToolBharat to handle someone else’s personal data without a lawful reason to.
  • Don’t try to get around rate limits or other abuse controls we put in place.

4. Free and paid plans

The Free plan costs nothing and covers every tool on the site today, within reasonable usage limits. Pro and Team plans are being built and are shown on our Pricing page so you know what’s coming, but neither one can actually be purchased yet. Once billing goes live, this section will be updated with the real terms, and fees will include GST unless stated otherwise.

5. Refunds

Since paid plans aren’t live yet, there’s nothing to refund. Our refund policy will be published here before Pro or Team launches, not after.

6. Who owns your content

Anything you process through ToolBharat stays yours. We don’t claim ownership over it, and as explained in our Privacy Policy, most tools never even receive your file in the first place since the work happens in your browser.

7. Availability

We aim for the site to be up close to all the time, but we’re not going to promise a specific number we can’t back up with a guarantee. If we plan maintenance that might cause downtime, we’ll try to give at least 24 hours’ notice.

8. Limitation of liability

ToolBharat is provided as is. To the extent Indian law allows it, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to whatever you’ve paid us in the 12 months before a claim. For most users on the Free plan, that amount is zero, and we think that’s worth being upfront about.

9. Ending your account

You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we’ll try to give notice when that’s reasonably possible.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. If you keep using ToolBharat after a change, that counts as accepting it. For anything material, we’ll email registered users at least 14 days ahead of time.
