Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ToolBharat. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or accessing under parental supervision, to use ToolBharat.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
  • Provide accurate information at signup.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property or is illegal in India.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, scan, or overload our systems.
  • Use ToolBharat to process personal data of others without lawful basis.
  • Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or abuse-prevention measures.

4. Free vs paid plans

The Free plan is provided at no cost with reasonable limits. Pro and Team plans grant higher limits in exchange for subscription fees. All fees are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

5. Refunds

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Yearly subscriptions can be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 14 days of purchase, provided fewer than 100 operations have been used.

6. Content ownership

You retain all rights to files you upload. We claim no ownership over your content and do not use it for any purpose other than delivering the requested tool. Aggregated, non-identifying metadata may be used to improve tool quality.

7. Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. Planned maintenance windows are announced at least 24 hours in advance.

8. Limitation of liability

ToolBharat is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, with reasonable notice where feasible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
